Photoshoots and cat poops.

Today was another good day.

Last night, as I had said, I came home to Kittie in her room. She had her friend [and crush] with her, Lily, and they were watching an entire box set of anime together on her bed. Ooh La La. It took them all night to finish, so Lily stayed over and slept in the living room.

I don't care, Lily is a sweet girl, and also goes to the same Art college as Kittie. I just think it's funny, cause Lily is either oblivious, or doesn't care, that Kittie is a lesbian. I know Kittie hasn't told her, so most likely she is oblivious. She told us, at least, but I have a pretty sensitive gaydar, and it's pretty obvious to me. I even suspect Lily of being at least Bi. But, seriously, watching them talk to each other sometimes.. its so awkward, I can't help but laugh! XD

I mean, Kittie doesn't go out and say it, but it's pretty obvious by her FB posts about gay rights and supporting, but she doesn't admit it on there. However, she feels quite comfortable blatantly saying it all over Gaia. She even had a "girlfriend" on Gaia for a while. Pft.

Anyways, Lily was still here when I woke up, and we chit-chatted a bit, she really is such a sweet girl. Her own Bitch of a roomie is moving out this month and is giving her all sorts of hell. It deals with her roomie losing her job, totaling her car, quiting college, and moving back home... oh, and they are on a 12 month lease till like September.

She is attempting to work it out with the office that she take our place when we move out, and they find someone to take over her lease.

All in all, nice visit. Her and Kittie had toast for breakfast and then they both left there different ways.

One thing I like when Kittie actually has guests [and by guests I mean not her mother, and mostly just Lily, her only friend, seriously. >0>] Kittie cleans her room. Including the litter box! So.. no Poop Patrol today, as it was cleaned this morning! 8D


Anyways, so the rest of the afternoon was spent with Beta and I getting ready for the photoshoot. We got out all the clothing we could possibly count as steam punk or pulp style, and got down to the business of deciding what we wanted to wear. It took a while, though, because some of my clothing were in the dryer.

And the dryer OVER HEATED.

It likes to do this every so too often. I have NO idea HOW this is possible, since all a dryer does is heat, but apparently it IS possible. And it's bloody annoying as hell! Cause, of course, when you need your work clothing dried as fast as possible because you're going to be late as of... oh god 5 minutes ago! it doesn't start.

I some how got it working again, and the clothing I needed dried. And in the nick of time, because as soon as I was dressed, it was time to go!

BUT IT WAS SO MUCH FUN AND SO WORTH IT!

The photographer was named Summer, and she was really sweet! As soon as we walked in, me in my pin-up like pilot getup, and Beta in his detective look, she was having so much fun putting us into poses and figuring out what props she had that she could use.

She showed us our poses, we got five all together, and they looked so awesome! We'll get them on the 27th. <3 I can't wait.

We then got my little sister, Ruby, and we took her out to dinner at a Japanese place, and then hung out at our apartment and watching a movie.

Just a good day and night, and very little Kittie to deal with! Beta's mood was much improved today, despite the occasional "I hate this place", but over all, so much better over yesterday. I hope it stays a while.
