Not much to update today, other than Kittie is a fucking HYPOCRITE.
She was talking to Ember, Dora and Lily today about how she thinks she is already at the limit for cats right now. So she is now thinking of getting rid of one of the cats, probably to her mom's house, so she can buy another one from the Humane Society.

SERIOUSLY. I DO NOT LIE TO YOU MY GOOD PEOPLE.
She would rather send one of her "babies" to her mother, who already has like 5+ cats where it would get no attention or individual loving, than accept $200s of my hard earned cash so that Orange could live with me and Beta and get all the love an attention he wants.
BITCH.

I'll be so pissed if she does that.

ReplyDeleteShe treats those cats like collectible trinkets, just hoarding them like that, not even giving a single thought to them as living, breathing animals; individual beings with their own unique characteristics. They need love and attention, to be appreciated equally, yet separately. ..I'm wording this horribly, I know, but yeah- I'm sure you get what I mean.
I really do hope that you decided to go through with the plan to "relieve" Kittie of poor little Orange. Not only will it benefit him, it'll benefit the other cats as well. Their living arrangements are unfortunate as they are, what with the neglectful owner and all. Having one of them carted off to an even more crowded home is just going to make things worse.

@Anon: Thank you for writing it all, though. It's exactly how I feel myself. I really hope I can relieve her of him somehow. I'm tempted to offer again, this time in front of the other girls, and see what she says. I'd rather settle this where everyone agrees than just taking him, but that is not beneath me. If she wants another cat, I'd be happy to BUY her another cat, in exchange for Orange.
