The highlights of yesterday were as follows.
1. IT FUCKING SNOWED HELL YEAH! And it's supposed to snow tonight, too! <3 Like... FOUR FUCKIN' INCHES! I love the snow! Even if it does limit the things you can do, it opens up SO many doors!
2. I had hot chocolate. I'm a silly goose. I went sugar free this year, but I made a condition that if it snows, then I MUST drink hot chocolate. Simple pleasures, my friend, "Enjoy the little things".
3. While I had hot chocolate, I enjoyed the company of my good friend H. Who I haven't seen in a good while. Lots to catch up with, and it was great to just be with her. <3
4. I got yarn for my nephews baby blanket. Blue and Yellow. It's going to be star shaped.
5. Beta, Dora, and I went to CHUCK E. CHEESE. 8D That was a blast, even though we probably spent like.. maybe $10s. :3 Again, Simple things. I LOVE SKIBALL. <3
6. I FINALLY FINISHED A PROJECT I'VE BEEN WORKING ON FOR LIKE.... TWO YEARS. D:

It is a squid hat. I have a dark red one myself. My good friend, Creme, asked me to make her one for Christmas.... two Christmases ago. D: It didn't get finished because I ran out of yarn and out of money. @o@ But! I finished it last night, and hopefully I can get it to her today... or soon. <3 She's going to be so surprised.
I do sell these hats. However, they'll cost you around $60-70s +shipping.. Ten dollars for yarn, and the rest for labor. These things take me a combined 20 hours to make, but they are really cool. It is a floppy hat, with two arm length tentacle scarves attached that have "mittens" at the end with suction cups. And then an additional 6 tentacles down the back. <3
And 7. I redyed my hair a really pretty deep red. <3
So, yeah, yesterday was good. :3
Today will be good today as well. Mostly, it will be spent taking down my beautiful tree, cleaning, and doing some reconnaissance in Kittie's room for more things we are missing. The big thing is an electric pencil sharpener that was plugged in on the desk in the common space... but is now gone. -sigh-
I'll also be working on my nephew's blankie too. :3
So a few things of note that did happen yesterday.
While Dora, Beta and I were hanging out, she informed us that Kittie was trying to go thru her to talk to us. This is one of the things I hate about Kittie, is she doesn't like to talk directly to either Beta or I. She used to write sticky notes for us complaining about this or that and leave them everywhere, and then she started using the White Board to leave us passive aggressive messages. Pretty much Dora is her new Which Board, and Dora doesn't like that, so she told Kittie to tell us herself. XD I love this girl.
Dora also told us that Kittie was thinking of giving up her room to Dora/Ember so they could have more space. But she wants them to pay $600s for it, cause there are two of them.
And I told her she better say fuck no. I wouldn't even pay $500 for that room, especially if she's only been paying 350 a month for it. She told me she did say no, and that they weren't paying for how many bodies were in the room, they were paying for the space, and they were willing to pay at most 450-500 for the room.
Kittie is just looking for a way to get more money out of them. I think it's funny how she is trying to make them pay more and justifying it, while when we were trying to tell her why it wasn't fair that she should get the master for the least amount of money, she couldn't see our justification. She's such a fucking hypocritical bitch.
And Lily was over when we all got home from Chuck E. Cheese! She was hanging out with Kittie, but after a while came out and joined us for a Monty Python movie! 8D Kittie never came out, and never talked to us, which I was fine with. But I did think it was weird that her "closest" friend ditched her to hang out with us and she didn't join in.
It's cause we're cooler. <3

ReplyDeleteUgh, I hate, hate, HATE hypocrisy. I can't believe this chick would ever have the gull to demand $600 from Ember and Dora for a room she'd only pay $350 for herself!! How exactly does there being two of them equal having to pay more? There's two of them living there now! Why exactly should they suddenly pay more just for changing rooms? If you ask me, there being two should have been more than enough reason why either you and Beta or Ember and Dora should have gotten the larger room in the first place. She's just one person! What does she need all that space for anyway, aside for her big ass overpriced furniture? It's just such a ridiculous concept, I really can't see how she ever came to that conclusion.
ReplyDeleteThe more I read about this situation, the more irritatingly obvious it becomes that all Kittie's doing is attempting to take advantage of the four of you, just as she does her own mother. She expects you all to serve as her cash cows, bend to her will, and stay the fuck out of her way. She's little more than a bully.
I realize I'm getting a little emotional over this, but I guess it's because not knowing any of you myself and just having this blog to go on, it's kind of become sort of an online textual soap opera for me. I get pretty mad when my favorite characters on General Hospital are wronged, too. =P

Haha, neat. I'm not sure if I can afford it, I was being optimistic (looking for a job atm and well... After a day of complete fail while going through 14 (!!!) temp agency sites, I'm kind of starting to lose hope. >_> You'd think there would be enough low-level jobs open that require no thinking or education (because for some reason 5 semesters of college don't proof you're a smartcaek and ARGH!) ...So.)

ReplyDeleteI really appreciate your passion in that comment. It's true, I've felt that way for a while too. I do feel like her Cash Cow. It frustrated me, cause when we kept saying in those first three months, we can't afford to pay $800 for this tiny room, we need to find another roommate, and on and on, as soon as she secured the girls, she "suddenly" couldn't afford anything either. And she milked us for everything we had. I used to have $1000 in my savings account. I now have $26.
One of my big reasons for getting out asap was so that Beta and I could actually have a chance to save up some money. At this rate, once we give our portion of the utilities for this month, we should have at least $600 in my bank. And another $500 at least by the end of next month, if we are careful.
@Galiemme; I totally understand. Beta has been looking for over a year now, with no luck. We can't figure it out, why these complete douche bags are getting the jobs he'd applied for. Its troubling. :/
